Candle Lights

In the picture of the woman laying down, by the lighting it looks like she is laying in a million canldes. When candles are lit they give off this orangy yellow glow, that the photographer has used.

See Through

What these two pictures have in common is the way the light shines through the fabric, making it look very sheer.

Neon Lights

Light Through Blinded Windows

This photographer used the use of light peering through blinds to set a the mood of this photograph. By using the blinds as a sort of barrier from the light, the actual photo itself is dark.

Lighted Mirrors

The alikeness in these 2 photographs are the mirrors and lights. The photographer in the fashion model picture uses the lights and mirror together to show a reflection of the model.

The Lights of Clouds

In the above photos there is a connection using clouds. The lighting within the clouds and the lighting in the photograph were the girls hair looks like clouds is the same. Aslo, clouds have dark and light places much like the girls hair.

Spot Lights

These two pictures show the use of light in one spot. The above photographer uses a centered ligther to draw attention to the center of the photo.

Shadows

In the above photo, the photographer has used the idea of light and shadows to make a shadowed double meaning. You can see in the background how the angle of the light is causing the girls to make shadows on the wall.

Darkness

The above images using the source of dark light to capture the model. By using the dark light, when looking at this photo you get the feeling of darkness.

Gloomy

The lighting is different on a gloomy day. Its dark and has a gray affect as you can see has been brought to life in the picture of the model featured to the left. They both have the dark feeling.

A Little About Me...

Well, my name of course is Sara Bell. I am currently attending the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I am a Fashion Design major, hopefully plan to have my own line, make it big. I want to design evening and party gowns, wishing one day I will see them worn by famouse people. I have loved art and clothes ever since I was little, drawing designs on napkins for my mom. I love fashion and I love shopping. I also hope to one day design line for women 30's until. I know they have a hard time finding good clothes for their age, have you seen their departments in stores, so bad. Anyways, I don't know much else. Just feel free to leave comments on my projects, would love to know what people think!!!

Jeans, Jeans, Jeans.... can you ever really find the perfect pair, the pair that fit like a glove, and are flattering, perfect for your body shape, and have the perfect amount of stretch, or color??? Well, tell me what you think of this idea....

What about a store, where you could go and actually get the perfect jean for you.

  • you would go in, and there would be someone there to take your measurements.

  • there would be walls filled with different jean swatches. choose the one you want.

  • then, you could even pick out the cut of the leg you would want

  • pick the buttons and pockets you want

  • then everything will be logged into a computer, then sent to factory in the back of the store, where your perfect jeans would be made.

  • take about an hour to make, you could pick them up later

I dont know, just an idea I had, I havent met a single girl that doesnt have some problem with finding the perfect jean...
